Got NaBloPoMo?

Yes, I am once again falling into November with NaBloPoMo and the commitment to post every day for thirty days. Never mind that I have (ANOTHER) cold. Never mind that I'm congested and feverish and drowsy. Never mind that Thanksgiving is on the horizon and Christmas is looming. Never mind that Lefty is as busy as I've ever seen him at work. I have answered the NaBloPoMo call and nothing will stand in my way. Ha!

As insurance against those days when I'm banging my head against the desk and looking for a snapshot of someone else's cat to post because I can't think of anything, I will (in the style of the great Mrs. G) answer reader questions during November. You ask, I will answer.

I enjoyed NaBloPoMo last year and I kind of liked the buzz of having to post every day. I also complained about it – a lot. This year I hope to enjoy it even more and complain a whole lot less. Wish me luck.

Now, I'm sure you're wondering about The Kid and his costume last night. He was a clone trooper, Commander Cody from the new cartoon Star Wars: The Clone Wars.

He had a Jedi for a chaperone.

  1. I love those photos...always glad to see another house where the force is strong.

    Let's see:

    1) How did you and Lefty meet and when did you know he was the one?

2)Where would you like to see yourself in ten years?

    3) Describe the most influential mother (besides your own)during your childhood.

    4) What is your greatest fear?

    Game on!

  2. Wow, thanks Mrs. G! With questions like these I shouldn't have too much trouble getting through November...

    Happy NaBloPoMo!

Let's have a cyber toast together when the month is done.

  3. Wow! Look at your Star Wars guys! Clone trooper can demand all of the candy, and if they still won't give it up, a Jedi mind trick should do the job!

Wait. I hardly noticed that Halloween passed.

I hope your cold goes away quickly. The boys and Mark have been coughing and sniffling, but so far, I'm only sneezing from the basement dust.

    Questions, questions, hmm ...
Okay. You know that feeling of pure happiness, excitement, anticipation and hope that wells up from the Center? What gives you that feeling, when you think about it?

Does that make any sense? I get the feeling I'm talking about when I think about the craftsman style house that I saw in Hot Springs: our new home? Or when I think about the portrait competition notifying me that I'm a finalist. I love that feeling. It isn't the result that gives me the feeling -- not winning the competition, not buying the house -- it's the ... possibilities that feel so amazing!

    xxxooo :)

  4. Hmmmm. I'll have to think about this one. But think, I will and I'll blog about the answer.
