We had a lovely valentine's celebration at our house. There was a rousing game of nerf darts.
There were hearts
and flowers
and just a little touch of romance.
And I finished a sock!
The Kid helped me with the sock photo.
Hope your valentine's day was just what you wanted!

It looks like great fun!
ReplyDeleteWow, the kid is really growing! I'm glad you had a sweet one.
ReplyDeleteSorry I'm so late commenting! Hey! You guys took nerf darts outside? Cool!
ReplyDeletePS Now I want Chinese.
PPS I have on a pair of Mark's old cotton crew socks -- and they don't even match! (One is a Gold Toe.) Your socks are bee-yoo-tee-full! :)
Hey -- have you ever thought about writing a story using socks in it? As metaphor for ... something, I don't know. And a title ... something with sock or socks in it ... And knitting the chapters together, choosing colors and yarns and textures ...
Ahem. Drifting off in my thoughts there. Hadn't figured I'd start doing that 'til I was 90 or so ...
Hey Laura - Sock, as in singular. I still have a whole matching sock to knit. That's the problem with socks - I love knitting the first one when everything is new and you're saying wow at how cool the colorway is working and then knitting the second one is kind of dull.
