Spring in South Texas

At some point over the last few days, spring sprung here in San Antonio.

We ate lunch on the deck and grilled.

The unidentified tree in the front yard began dropping pollen grenades onto the front yard.

This is what they look like.

The tea roses started to bloom, despite my maniacal cutting back a few weeks ago.

And I came down with a ferocious head cold. Updates from the achy hollows of my sinuses soon.

  1. Yes, if only I weren't too sick to enjoy it. I'm sitting here typing with one hand and holding a hot washcloth on my sinuses with the other, trying not to drip on my laptop!

  2. Hi Laura. Thanks for visiting my blog. I'm in S.A., too. I hear it's supposed to grow cold again this week. In fact, the wind is howling as I ... write.
