The halls are decked (mostly). My mom arrived safely. Lefty posts his grades tomorrow. (Ten more papers to grade.) The Kid woke up with a stomach ache and threw up this morning, but we've been vomit free since 9:00 am. Hooray!
At this very moment we are all sitting at the kitchen table. Lefty is sitting in front of his closed laptop and yawning. The Kid is drawing a cartoon called "Naked Hero: The Discovery." My mom is knitting and counting stitches and I'm typing.
I hope your holidays are gathering steam.
I'm glad things are warm and festive in your small spot in the world.
ReplyDelete"All sitting at the kitchen table" sounds perfect. :)
ReplyDeleteI just covered cousin Aaron, 11, with a blanket. He and Owen have been up all night. Shhh.
Morning.
What a gorgeous tree! And that does sound so lovely, gatthered together. I hope it remains peaceful and loving!
