Now, check out this gigantic coconut cake I baked.
(Don't tell me that I should have let Lefty and The Kid bake a cake for me. I looove to bake. I spent hours pouring over recipes before deciding on this one and I was looking forward to the baking for at least a week.) It is fabulously moist and scrumptious. It was also a huge amount of work and I think I got every single mixing bowl I own dirty in the process. But, oh, it is yummy!
I also received thoughtful gifts and all-around wonderfulness from my family. Best of all, this card from The Kid.
I think this is going to be a very good year!

ReplyDeleteCoconut cake is my all time favorite cake in the entire world. My family hates coconut so I haven't had a slice since my grandmother died...she made the best!
That cake looks yummy and the card is very yummy too.
